Draper Recreation Center - July 8th and 9th from 6-9pm both nights

Learn the foundational skills and techniques necessary for all disciplines of kayaking. The cost of this class is $125/person and Rapid Progression provides all the gear. Class content includes:

• Overview of gear (kayak, skirt, paddle, pfd, helmet, dry gear, etc)

• Wet Exit

• Basic strokes (Forward, Reverse, Forward Sweep, Reverse Sweep, Stern Draw, Sculling)

• Hip Snap and Bracing

• Rolling (C to C vs Sweep Roll)
